The short story behind Studio ROM

Greetings and a warm welcome to you. If this is your first time here, please allow me to share musings about Studio ROM, its purpose, ambition, and the creative impulses contained within.

I originally envisioned Studio ROM as a music production house to fully explore a solo endeavor (once known as 'Ty Left'). Without pressure or precursor, it would be a safe haven to throw down a riff or off-the-cuff idea at any time of day.

So what's up now? Although necessary life detours and obligations (and more recently, global calamity) have sidetracked many of my original attempts, I am pleased to announce work has been underway on an inaugural release. Titled Calm Razor Portrait, it will feature 4-5 instrumental 'portraits' performed primarily on modular synthesizer.  In broader context, I imagine this to become part of an ongoing series of ambient music inspired by art and architecture.
